Back in the Olden Days

Excursion program to the Alekseyevskaya Sloboda living history museum. You will spend the day in a large five-wall log cabin with ancient household items. You will also learn about Russian folk customs, the traditional lifestyle of peasants, and common superstitions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to put on Russian folk costumes, take photos, make a protective doll amulet, play folk music instruments or active traditional games, and end the day with a Russian mulled honey drink and pies made in a Russian stove.
