Beach Parties

Sailing

Abrashino Quarry
This abandoned and flooded marble quarry is now a deep lake with a rocky bottom and exceptionally clear water. It is the only body of water in Novosibirsk Region that is suitable for diving. The fact that it’s located in a pine forest makes it even more special. Its clean air and unique microclimate, especially paired up with a stay at the recreation center nearby, will be of great benefit to your health.
River Cruises
Summer navigation along the Ob River usually starts in May. This is the time for river excursions: learn about the history of the city and its residents, enjoy warm and long evenings, a romantic setting, and musical excursions to the sound of saxophone or violin.

Rostislav Shilo Novosibirsk Zoo
Novosibirsk Zoo, the pride of Novosibirsk, is one of the largest zoos in Russia. It covers 65 hectares and is home to 11,000 animals and 770 species. The zoo specializes in breeding felines and mustelids. It has one of the world’s best collections of these animals. And you mustn’t miss the local favorites, the polar bear family.
Air Show
The annual air show at the Mochische airfield attracts thousands of fans of Russian aviation. The show includes displays of Russian Air Force aircraft and helicopters, solo and group aerobatics of civil aircraft, displays of vintage aircraft, skydiving and canopy relative work, powered paragliding, aeromodellers, and kites.
Siberian Fire
The Siberian Fire international military history festival is one of the largest annual events in Russia and attracts tens of thousands of visitors. The events, life and culture from different periods of Russian and world history are reenacted on a vast area covering several square kilometers. Every year sees participants coming from further afield, with hundreds of reenactors from Siberia, the Russian Far East, the Urals, the European part of Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic.
