Nicholas Roerich Museum

The museum’s efforts are aimed at studying and promoting the artistic legacy of the Roerich family (Nicholas, Elena, Yuri and Svyatoslav), which is based in the overriding need of spiritual and moral perfection of human beings. The museum’s architectural ensemble includes: a 3-story building, the Bell of Peace arch, and a memorial (chapel) of St. Sergius of Radonezh. The museum houses some of his authentic works (from private collections), belongings of his family members, and some reproductions that give visitors a better sense of the ideas behind Nicholas Roerich’s art. The museum also displays works by other artists.

Opening hours: Monday, Wednesday through Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed on Tuesday
