Karpysak Waterfall

Over 50 years ago, the village of Karpysak saw an earth fill dam built on the Bugotak River to form a carp farming pond. Later, the dam cracked and turned into a 4-meter-high waterfall, which has become a local landmark. The pond that lets the waterfall out is very popular with fishers, and the pine forest within a walking distance has plenty of mushrooms. Recently, the tourist infrastructure has been growing rapidly: the new U Vodopada recreation center, a variety of gazebos, cafes and water attractions have been opened.
