Delfiniya Centre

For the first time beyond the Urals, far from the seas and oceans, a large-scale high-tech year-round oceanographic complex has been established. The center’s halls alone have an area of more than 8,000 sq.m. It is an excellent choice for family recreation. You can visit a circus show with dolphins, white polar whales, South American sea lions, Steller’s sea lion, and Pacific walrus. There is an oceanarium with a tunnel that runs through the aquarium. The exposition includes 30 exclusively marine aquariums. Here, Novobirsk residents and guests can find more than 300 species of fish and marine animals: morays, rays, sharks, and other inhabitants of seas and oceans. The center offers marine biology lessons and scientific programs for children, and educations excursions. Those who want to get to know marine animals a bit better can use the services of the Dolphin Swim Center. It gives the guests an opportunity to swim and play with marine mammals.

Opening hours: Monday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Ticket office opening hours: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Delfiniya Centre of Oceanography and Marine Biology is an exciting project designed to bring together culture, entertainment, science and education. The Centre aims to promote public knowledge about marine animals and raise awareness about conservation efforts.
Comfortable living conditions for mammals and fish were the priority at the construction stage. The total area of the halls is over 8,000 square meters, while the water volume in the aquariums and pools is 2.7 million liters.
The Centre has a special dome, which mimics natural light for the comfort of inhabitants and visitors.
Delfiniya hosts marine life shows with an amazing program full of stunts, tricks, singing and drawing. You can also visit the oceanarium with an underwater tunnel, the longest one beyond the Urals.
Those, who want to learn more about the underwater world, can attend marine biology classes to find out more about its inhabitants, and even observe how Delfiniya staff feed the fish!
And if you want to dive deeper into the world of seas and oceans, the Centre has classes for children and adults where you can learn more about marine inhabitants and feel the atmosphere of this amazing place.
