Berdsk History and Art Museum

Here you will learn the history of the Siberian Atlantis — the city of Berdsk, which was flooded in the postwar years for the construction of the Novosibirsk hydroelectric power station. Berdsk History and Art Museum today houses over 16 thousand items, 3 exhibitions and 7 exhibition sites, which annually hosts over 50 exhibitions of artists, sculptors, craftsmen and over a hundred events: lectures, contests, festivals, concerts and even theatrical performances. The museum curates several creative museum associations, while the number of visits is rapidly approaching 20,000 people a year. The museum has a permanent exhibition — Turning the Pages of the Book of Memory. It is dedicated to the life of Berdsk and its citizens during the Great Patriotic War at the front and in the rear. In 2020, the museum equipped the exhibition with an interactive table for the The Book of Memory multimedia project.

Opening hours: Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on Monday and Sunday
