The theater’s repertoire offers performances for all kinds of audience. The theater collaborates with reputed stage maestros and also pays attention to up-and-coming star directors.
The theater regularly tours in Russia and abroad. Globus has been awarded 6 Golden Masks. The theater organizes major cultural events of national significance. In December 1995, at the initiative of the Novosibirsk theater, the first International Christmas Art Festival was held. In December 2021, the festival was organized for the 14th time. Over the course of its history, the festival has been recognized as one of the largest international cultural forums beyond the Urals.

The Globus Youth Theater was founded in 1930. The company was started by actors and directors of the Leningrad Theater for the Young relocated to Novosibirsk. In 1984 the theater moved into its own unique building that looks like a sailing ship. On the same occasion, the theater was presented with a symbolic ship-shaped key.
The name of the theater highlights its openness to theatrical experiences of different countries and nations. Its stage sees performances for the audiences of all ages. The theater’s repertoire never fails theater enthusiasts and offers something exciting for everyone.
Today the Globus Theater is a one-of-a-kind cultural centre with a youth symphony orchestra, vocal and body movement studios. It regularly hosts festivals and exhibitions.
