I suggest starting the walk from Sverdlov Square, where you can find a monument to the famous architect Andrey Kryachkov and the 100-Flat Building. There are many masterpieces of constructivism to see: the Novosibirsk Region Government Building, the House with a Clock, the Red Torch Theater, and the October Revolution House of Culture. You’ll also be able to feast your eyes on the wonderful mansion built by merchant Zakhary Kryukov and the House of Merchant Surikov decorated with thousands of lights. Take a break in the cozy Kardamon coffee shop, see the extraordinary facades of the Puppet Theater and the Tsvetochny shop, and discover the legendary Pobeda Cinema. Pobeda is well known for its wide repertoire, which can rival that of any movie theater in Moscow. Finally, let’s stop by the restaurant patio behind Tsentralnaya Hotel and take a photo next to the famous “I’m from Siberia” graffiti.

It’s based in an architectural monument of regional significance built in 1912 by the famous architect Andrey Kryachkov.

The movie theater, built in the early 20th century, has a rich history and hosts all the main movie events in Novosibirsk.

“I’m from Siberia” graffiti

Since 2017, the famous graffiti “I’m from Siberia” has decorated the electricity transformer building In Pervomaysky Park, next to the restaurant patio behind Tsentralnaya Hotel. The graffiti was made by Stepan Derevyanko.
